Nova OBC sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw, Poland, is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  

 

What Data We Collect:

When you apply to work as a freelance courier, we collect your name, contact information, base location, and, at a later stage, a scanned copy of your passport.

  

Why We Collect It:

We use your passport data exclusively for:

• Verifying your identity as part of our recruitment and vetting process
• Booking international flight tickets for confirmed jobs

 

Legal Basis:  

The collection of this data is based on:  

• Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: necessary for contract performance
• Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in ensuring reliable, verified couriers 

 

Data Storage & Security:

• Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers accessible only to authorized NOVA OBC staff
• Passport data is retained only while you are an active courier or until you withdraw your consent  
• We delete all personal data upon your request or after 12 months of inactivity 

 

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data  
• Withdraw your consent at any time  
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
